US and Iran exchange strikes and accuse each other of violating ceasefire

Iran is firing back, literally, engaging U.S. infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain after a U.S. offensive on Iranian targets. But hold on—where’s the outcry from the mainstream media? Outlets like CNN and MSNBC are waving flags of alarmist rhetoric, framing it all as a “dangerous escalation,” but isn’t it a little hypocritical? The U.S. intervenes and launches attacks, yet when the tables turn, we suddenly hear cries of “provocation” from those same networks. They’ve built a cozy narrative around American imperialism, calling it “defense,” while twisting any retaliation into an act of aggression.

On the other hand, conservative outlets like Fox News are jumping on the “patriotism” train, portraying the U.S. as the stalwart hero in a battle against “rogue nations.” Yet they conveniently ignore the broader implications of American meddling in foreign affairs—how can you cheer on a military response without considering its global consequences? It’s all smoke and mirrors.

The real story isn’t just about bombs and missiles; it’s about competing narratives and the ordinary American who’s left in the dark. With the corporate media spinning one narrative or the other, they’re diluting the truth. When are we going to question why the U.S. feels entitled to intervene wherever it pleases while decrying any pushback? We must demand accountability for these double standards and stop swallowing the propaganda served up by the establishment media.
