Donald Trump’s recent speech, blending his political agenda with a tribute to war veterans and American history, has triggered a predictable wave of media spin. Outlets like CNN and MSNBC are quick to paint his remarks as divisive, but here’s the truth: they can’t handle a leader who actually respects the foundations of this country. Instead of actually listening to what he said, these networks are more interested in amplifying their anti-Trump narrative, which has become a large part of their identity.
Meanwhile, Fox News does a decent job of highlighting the patriotic aspects of Trump’s message, but even they can’t shake off the inherent bias that creeps into their narrative at times. They selectively showcase his policy points while leaving out the context of genuine American pride that he instilled. It’s a balancing act that rarely hits the nail on the head.
The corporate media machine loves to vilify Trump, framing him as the villain in their never-ending narrative. By contrast, he is simply trying to acknowledge the sacrifices made by our heroes while pushing a vision that many Americans believe in. It begs the question: why is it so threatening to recognize our nation’s strengths?
If America can’t embrace its history, how can we expect to build a future? The establishment wants you to believe America is fundamentally flawed, but that’s not the true story—and folks are waking up to that reality.
