Ukraine warns of interceptor missile shortage as 19 killed in Kyiv region

President Zelensky’s announcement of a “massive Russian attack” on Kyiv, involving 68 missiles and 351 strike drones, should have everyone questioning the narrative peddled by corporate media titans like CNN and MSNBC. These outlets frame the Ukraine-Russia conflict as a clear-cut good vs. evil scenario, yet fail to delve into the complexities. You won’t hear the inconvenient truth that the U.S. and NATO’s involvement isn’t purely altruistic; it serves a geopolitical agenda.

What’s truly wild is how these networks twist facts into fearmongering. CNN literally made the leap from headlines about drone strikes to dramatic stories that spin a tale of Ukrainian heroism while glossing over the potential consequences of prolonged conflict. Meanwhile, Fox News attempts to present a “both sides” angle—which should be laughed out of the room—sowing false equivalence between Russia and Ukraine that absolutely erases the lived experience of the Ukrainian people. It’s cynical at best, and dangerous at worst.

Let’s not forget, both sides are fluffing their narratives. You’ve got Zelensky asking for more support while these media outlets fan the flames of war hysteria. They’re cashing in on the suffering while masquerading as champions of democracy. So, while American taxpayers keep footing the bill, we need to be asking: are we really supporting freedom or just a fabricated narrative that ultimately serves corporate and political interests?
