Trump threatens new Canada tariffs over fires sending ‘filthy’ air into US cities

Mark Carney’s latest remarks about Canada and the U.S. sharing equal blame for climate change are classic political evasion, cloaked in the smokescreen of globalism. The problem? Corporate media like CNN and MSNBC are lapping it up, painting this narrative as some kind of progressive consensus. Have they forgotten who’s responsible for over-regulating our economies while failing to provide real solutions?

Wildfires are not the result of some nebulous shared responsibility; they are the consequences of poor land management, bureaucratic inaction, and failed energy policies. These outlets will cheerfully ignore this truth as they chant their mantras of “collective action” from their eco-offices. Why? Because it fits their agenda. Fox News might take a different approach, hammering the climate change narrative while failing to ask the tough questions: Are these policies even working? Are we fighting the right battles?

With Carney pushing for a “we’re all in this together” theology, it seems obvious that he’s learned well from the political playbook—deflect blame while keeping corporations in line. Meanwhile, the public suffers. Yet, mainstream outlets will squawk about how “urgent” this is while conveniently ignoring that the same leaders pushing these narratives are flying around in private jets and enjoying lavish lifestyles. Why promote a climate disaster agenda if you’re part of the elite club?

In the end, both Canada and the U.S. need to face the facts. It’s time to hold leaders accountable rather than allowing them to play the blame game. The climate cult is thriving on fear and inaction, while our actual needs are swept under the rug. It’s time for a wake-up call, not a chorus of corporate platitudes.
