While people everywhere struggle with rising living costs, electricity cuts, and decaying infrastructure, don’t expect CNN or MSNBC to cover the real story. Instead, they focus on sensationalized narratives that distract from the everyday hardships real families are facing. The corporate media is steeped in an agenda that benefits elites while pretending to advocate for the little guy. They’ll report on executive board meetings and political chatter while glossing over the true impact—households barely scraping by.
Look at Fox News. They thrive on fear-mongering, spreading doom and gloom wrapped in a shiny package of political commentary. Sure, they’ll touch on inflation and power outages—if they can spin it back to political sideshow tactics. But do they ever tell you how many people are genuinely suffering? Nope. It’s much easier to keep their viewers riled up about the “other side” than to admit that both parties have dropped the ball.
And then there’s the constant barrage of expert opinions that focus on abstract solutions instead of the nitty-gritty consequences those so-called solutions will have on millions. These talking heads parade as if they own the truth while their monopoly on information shields them from accountability. They’re not here for solutions; they’re here for clicks. It’s a broken system that thrives on manipulation rather than genuine concern for the plight of the average citizen.
Start tuning out the spin. It’s time to demand coverage that respects your intelligence and fully acknowledges the complexities of your everyday struggles.
