Ukrainian drones hit more sites of Russian online retailer Wildberries

Overnight, Wildberries’ logistics hubs in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions were hit, and what do we hear from mainstream media? Crickets or, at best, a fragile acknowledgment like that found on CNN. Instead of delving into the “why” and the potential ramifications of this attack, the narrative is brushed aside as just another blip in the chaos of the ongoing conflict—clickbait headlines with no context.

Meanwhile, Fox News has mostly prioritized sensationalized gossip over serious reporting, seldom touching the implications of such actions on local economies or the geopolitical landscape. Why aren’t they asking the real questions? What does this say about security in these regions? Or better yet, how does it impact logistics and supply chains, especially amid rising tensions? Clearly, there’s a concerted effort to downplay the seriousness while focusing on soft, feel-good stories that don’t challenge viewers’ complacency.

It’s almost shocking how easily these outlets allow their narratives to be manipulated, neglecting deeper investigations. It’s high time we demand robust journalism that doesn’t shy away from the uncomfortable truths. Either we engage with the realities shaping our world or we continue to feed into a narrative that is dangerously superficial. The silence is deafening, and so is the complicity.
