Israel’s deliberate targeting of Gaza children part of genocide: UN inquiry

The United Nations Commission of Inquiry just dropped a bombshell, claiming Israel is participating in a “genocide” against Palestinian children in Gaza. Yet, where’s the outcry on CNN or MSNBC? These corporate media behemoths tend to shy away from using the term “genocide” when it comes to Israel. Instead, they’ll twist the narrative, framing it around “conflict” or “violence,” as if that somehow downplays the severity of the situation. It’s an egregious act of public relations masquerading as journalism.

Meanwhile, Fox News might throw in a stray mention of the report, but you can bet they’ll either downplay it or outright dismiss it in favor of a “both sides” narrative. You know the drill: “Yes, there’s suffering on both ends,” while conveniently glossing over the clear power imbalance and the documented targeting of innocent children. It’s classic misdirection.

While independent sources on social media explode with outrage, mainstream outlets are largely complicit, either through silence or by sanitizing the language. They’re too busy feeding us manufactured narratives that fit neatly into their geopolitical agendas. Don’t be fooled; this isn’t journalism; it’s propaganda dressed up with a journalistic gloss, and we deserve better.
