Kenya’s Health Minister just pulled the rug out from under a U.S.-backed Ebola facility, and you can bet the mainstream media is scrambling to spin this into a tale of danger and negligence. Did you hear it from CNN or BBC? Of course not. They’d rather distract you with their sensationalist narratives than provide the context we truly need. Why is Kenya blocking a facility that supposedly aims to protect public health? Perhaps they’re not buying the corporate narrative of a world on the brink of doom and disaster.
You’ve got to wonder: is this really about fighting Ebola, or is it just another way for the U.S. to expand its influence in East Africa? The last thing Kenya needs is a “helping hand” that comes with strings attached. Fox News might label this as “reckless” when the reality is, countries are waking up to the fact that foreign aid often comes with hidden agendas. What’s in it for Murica? More military bases? More control? Don’t count on the corporate media to ask these hard questions; they’re too busy pushing fear.
The audacity of the establishment is on full display. They expect countries like Kenya to just bend to their will without questioning the motives behind such a facility. I applaud the Health Minister for standing firm. We need more leaders willing to say “no” to corporate overreach, regardless of who’s backing it. If only more nations would follow suit and question the so-called “solutions” that come with a price.
