These networks thrive on moral high ground, yet they conveniently sidestep the reality of conflict-related journalism. They love to parade “objective reporting” while crafting alarmist headlines that fit their preferred narratives, all while neglecting to splatter the human cost across their screens in a meaningful way. Instead of gripping coverage that might resonate with viewers, they often resort to sanitized reports, engaging in pure editorializing that doesn’t properly challenge the powers at play.
Meanwhile, networks like Fox News might sensationalize the events to provoke outrage, but they often miss the nuance, failing to address the historical and geopolitical intricacies that contextualize such tragedies. It’s a fundamental disservice to the public, who are too often left rattling in the echo chamber of selective truth-telling.
Where’s the fearless journalism that dares to expose the complexities of these conflicts?
