The media’s obsession with a narrative that supports the establishment is exhausting. Why not ask the tough questions? Why isn’t every taxpayer’s experience on the road viewed with the same scrutiny? Where’s the accountability when our leaders flaunt their authority?

It’s ironic. A traffic stop that should illuminate issues of bias becomes a publicity moment instead. Those of us critical of government know the real story is transparency and equal treatment under the law. Governor Lombardo’s escape from repercussions is just one more reminder of how the elite operate: free to break rules, while the average citizen bears the burden of the law.
