Palestine weekly: One thousand days of genocide in Gaza

Gaza commemorates a grim milestone: 1,000 days engulfed in what has been termed Israel’s “genocidal war.” Since the so-called October “ceasefire,” the death toll has spiraled, with at least 1,072 lives lost. But hold the phone—where is the mainstream outrage? Where’s CNN, usually quick to spotlight devastating tales, suddenly muted? You’d think a horrific tragedy like this would lead their evening broadcasts, but instead, expect to find them glorifying political theater and bread-and-circus distractions.

Now compare this with Fox News, which, whether through sensational headlines or blunt rhetoric, promotes a narrative focused on a perceived threat from Gaza while twisting the realities endured by civilians. They manage to spin a complex humanitarian crisis into a two-dimensional cartoon of good vs. evil, all but ignoring the human suffering and losses on both sides. It’s a grotesque dance of selective outrage and faux compassion.

If you want a real look at what’s happening, don’t turn to these corporate giants that manipulate facts and narratives to fit their agendas. Instead, seek out frontline voices genuinely reporting from the ground. The truth is that while they preach balance and responsibility, the corporate media offers anything but. The bloodshed continues, and the only thing rising faster than the death toll is the hype over political posturing, leaving actual human lives in the dust.
